Eleanor when I was looking for war records I came on one for a James Lewis Jack. It shows him as a Canadian soldier in the first world war his date of birth is shown as 11/09/1895 and his Mother is Mrs Ellen Jack 15 Margaret St Avoch. If this is some of your folk I can send you a copy.
